Technology has been a big part of our lives since then. We cannot deny the fact that it's really important and helpful to us. One example of technology that we usually use in our daily life is CELLPHONES. It is used for communication. A lot of teenagers are engaged with this kind technology, but, what does the society think about the Ethical uses of cellphones?

According to my first source of article, there are laws about cellphones that the user should abide by. Government Safety Organizations of different countries have different steps and rules to solve the problems - like: Cellphones are banned which driving. Thus, breaking the laws is considered as unethical. In about ethical uses, there are cellphone manners like - keeping conversations short In public and avoid saying private things, talking in a low voice in public areas, switching to Silent or vibrate mode while in a meeting or program going on, refraining from any sort of discussion on personal or official or confidential topic and using hands free while driving or avoiding using it as possible. Values are really important not only for socialization, but to things that we often use. You can use cellphone for thousands of reason - and sadly, some people use this kind of technology for some crime, pornography & etc. It is important to know & cultivate the values in yourself while using your cell phone that you won't affect other people's rights & do not cause any harm. This article has proved a lot of things. I must say that the author of this article researched a lot, and it's very good.

By the topic of "Ethical Use of Cellphones" I saw a lot of articles about it. One of the articles was summarized above, while the according to the second one... Ethics is described as a system of morals that are approved  & accepted by our society. Thus, there are cellphone laws & manners that are usually recommended to cellphone users. The Governor's Highway Safety Association charted cellphone laws by state in 2009. They found out that almost half of the states' ban cellphones for novice drivers under the age of 18 & the 28% ban texting while driving for all ages. For the manners, it was the same as the ethics that the first source said. The FDA and FCC say cellphones do not emit enough radiation to constitute a health hazard.  This article didn't really explain a lot of stuff, but I guess the idea was clear. So, it's good too.

Cellphones are really important to us. It has a lot of uses, and it makes our lives easier. But still, we should use it with proper care and importance. Cellphones can lead us into different situation, so we must be careful. In my point of view, the ethical uses of cellphones are - we must be careful in having a conversation in public (if possible, make your conversation shorter) & avoid discussing about personal & private topics. We really don't want strangers to know about our private life, right? We should also switch our cellphone to 'silent' or 'vibrate' mode in church, or when there's a meeting going on. And of course, do not use your cellphone when driving .

How about at school? Do you think it's okay to use cellphones at school? I think it's okay, as long as the users are disciplined about it. You cannot just use cellphone (texting...calling..whatever..) in front of your teacher (while discussing). It's like a slap in the face. You can use cellphone for calculator, and for emergencies. Ask your teacher about it, and if you have right reasons, they'll allow you - that's for sure. Switch your cellphones to vibrate or silent mode to avoid distracting your teacher.

Well, that's all. I think? But, thankyou :D

Both sources have the main idea on it, so I picked these 2.
